Your First Visit
What can I expect during my first appointment?
From the moment you walk through our front doors, you can expect a warm and friendly environment. Each member of the team is dedicated to our patients, and wants to maintain your oral health in a comfortable and positive experience.
You can wait in our inviting reception area where you'll find comfortable seating and interesting reading material. If you wish to enjoy a beverage before or after your appointment, we also offer fresh coffee, juice and water.
How long will my first dentist appointment take?
Your first appointment will take about 60 minutes. We ask that you arrive about 10 minutes early to your first appointment to complete our new patient forms.
What will happen during my first visit?
During your first appointment, we will:
- Review your dental history, including any concerns you have regarding your dental health.
- Perform a complete oral exam including x-rays to assess anything that cannot be seen with the naked eye.
- Create a personalized dental health plan.

Insurance & Payment
Direct Billing to Insurance
We offer direct billing for most insurance plans. As a courtesy, we can also submit your insurance claim electronically, resulting in faster reimbursement, without the need for paper forms and signatures.
The amount of coverage varies from 0% to 100% depending on how your plan is designed. We will help you all we can to facilitate your claim.
Fees & Payment
You can pay by Visa, Mastercard, debit, or cash.
- Diagnostic & Preventive
For most diagnostic and preventive procedures, our fees are similar to other dental practices.
Some of our restorative and cosmetic procedures require additional equipment, materials, and time to deliver and may mean a premium has been applied over the average price for such services.
- Periodontal Disease
Fees for treatment of periodontal (gum) disease depend on the treatment required to control the gum infection and maintain control of it. This will vary between individuals.
Insurance reimbursement is based on partial coverage of a limited number of basic dental procedures. However, they do help those who are fortunate enough to have some coverage.
- Fee Guide
Insurance benefits are often based on a Standard Fee Guide that reflects an average fee range on an average patient in an average dental practice.
Your benefits may not cover the cost of some treatments offered at our dental practice.
Cancellation Policy
Please note that we require 48 hours for changes to your scheduled appointment. If you need to change or cancel your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible.
